The Belgian design studio WeWantMore has turned the Château de Vignée in the Ardennes into an aesthetically thrilling boutique lodge. The Château de Vignée is found in the Belgian Ardennes and is surrounded by open up meadows and dense forests. Deeply rooted in the region, it acted as a meeting area for hunters for centuries. The former looking lodge has now been reworked into a boutique hotel and the style group uncovered a unique way to reinterpret the rustic attraction of a home that was built in 1658. The premises are wealthy in depth, their layout now influenced as significantly by the austere elegance of bordering character as by their extravagant, 19th century inheritance. The selected components, lighting principles and color schemes choose a great deal of their inspiration from the encompassing landscape – although playfully organized stuffed animals evoke the Château’s historical past with a twinkle in the eye.
Along with thoroughly refurbished and restored rooms, the constructing features a bar and lounge, a high-class cafe and a spa spot. The spacious bogs in the junior suites are characterised by marble and whitewashed plaster partitions. The undermount basins of the Alape Metaphor collection match seamlessly into the inside layout. Their reduced, linear type produces an ambiance of clarity and composition. Metaphor is complemented congenially by the Dornbracht traditional Tara. The colour used for the fittings and basins is Black matt: the dim end contrasting fantastically with the extraordinary graining of the marble. The geometric purity of the structure mirror by Alape and the Help floating shelf method complete the arrangement.
Anthracite coloured marble was the predominant impact in the bogs of the top-quality rooms. The counter-major basins on the washstands arrive from the Alape Unisono collection. Glazed steel, with its non-porous and immaculate end in a content that is only 3 mm thick, sets a really decorative and delicate tone here. The round condition of the basin also harmonises stylishly with the similarly spherical design and style mirror. The Black matt finishes of the Alape basins and Dornbracht’s typical Tara fitting exert a calming outcome in mixture with the delicate shade of the marble – and bring a perception of intimacy and magnificence to the inside of the area.
