The regional provider, PSA Airlines, which operates American Eagle flights, was grounded around an inspection difficulty, CNN reported, forcing American Airways to cancel 230 flights and rebook influenced passengers. PSA Airlines flies to 90 airports in the course of the United States.

“We are operating with PSA and the FAA to right away tackle the situation,” a consultant for American Airlines instructed the network. “We are doing the job with our clients to organize new accommodations on other flights and we are doing the job to return the impacted aircraft to provider.”

The cancellations were being thanks to challenges with PSA Airlines’ Bombardier CRJ planes, most of which experienced to be pulled out of assistance “out of an abundance of warning” to complete a “required, common inspection” of the nose landing-gear doors, according to CNN.
